While neurotoxins such as Botox are best known for softening wrinkles and minimizing fine lines to rejuvenate your appearance, their benefits go well beyond aesthetics. Botox can also be used to correct a gummy smile, relieve myofascial discomfort, and ease the symptoms of TMJ/TMD. With an in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, dentists are exceptionally well qualified to provide neurotoxin treatments safely and effectively.
Dr. Jacqueline Delash completed her botox training through the Facial Anatomy for Comprehensive Esthetic Seminars.

Consultation and Treatment Plan: Dr. Delash will take the time to understand your aesthetic goals and explain how Botox treatments can help bring your personal vision to life. If you’re dealing with jaw pain, we’ll also evaluate whether Botox may provide the relief you need. Pretreatment photos are taken, face mapping of the desired location for botox treatment is recorded, and cost of treatment is reviewed.
Procedure: After treatment sites are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, a thin needle is used to inject Botox into the targeted areas. To create maximum comfort, we offer topical numbing prior to the procedure and use a face massager during treatment to reduce sensitivity in the areas.
Post Procedure Follow Up: A 2 week follow up visit is scheduled after your treatment to evaluate if any touchups are necessary.
Post procedure: Botox treatment generally lasts 3-4 months, therefore scheduling follow up appointments will help maintain your results.
